Context and Objectives

The Village des Solutions pour la Nutrition was initiated by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs and the European Commission, alongside the Nutrition for Growth (N4G) Paris 2025 Summit. It aimed to bring together key sector stakeholders to showcase concrete and innovative solutions for nutrition and sustainable food systems.


The Nutrition for Growth (N4G) Summit, launched in 2013, is a major international event that mobilizes political and financial commitments to fight malnutrition. Organized every four years by the host country of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, it gathers governments, international organizations, civil society, the private sector, and academia.


In this context, the Village des Solutions pour la Nutrition served as a space for exchange, awareness, and demonstration. Visitors had the opportunity to discover pioneering initiatives, interact with experts, and identify concrete actions to improve global nutrition.

Throughout the Summit, the Village des Solutions pour la Nutrition was a key meeting point, catering to a wide range of participants, from the general public to sector experts.

Alongside the Summit, the Village highlighted six key areas related to nutrition challenges and solutions:

Each theme was addressed through exhibition stands, conferences, and interactive spaces, immersing visitors in the most innovative sector initiatives.

These exhibitors provided demonstrations, conferences, and discussion spaces, offering a better understanding of implemented solutions and their tangible impacts.

A PharmaBox, a humanitarian innovation developed by the CMA CGM Foundation in partnership with Action Contre la Faim, was on display in the Solutions Village. The PharmaBox is a container converted to store medicines in humanitarian crisis zones. Robust, mobile and energy self-sufficient, it is deployed in African countries where medicines are used to treat malnourished children.

Photography exhibition on nutrition

Alongside the Village, a photography exhibition took place from March 24 to May 24, 2025, around the Village des Solutions pour la Nutrition in Parc André-Citroën, further disseminating the Village’s and Summit’s messages.

Titled “Maternal and Child Nutrition: A Pillar in the Fight Against Malnutrition,” and created in collaboration with the NGO Gret and the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP), this exhibition showcased portraits and scenes highlighting global efforts, supported by France, to combat malnutrition.

Organization and implementation

The Village des Solutions pour la Nutrition was organized by the public agency Expertise France.

Expertise France is France’s public agency and interministerial actor in charge of international technical cooperation, the second-largest in Europe. As a subsidiary of Agence Française de Développement Group (AFD Group), it designs and implements projects that sustainably strengthen public policies in developing and emerging countries. Expertise France works in key areas of development: governance, security, climate change, health, education, and more. Alongside its partners, it contributes to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

This event provided a unique platform for exchange and mobilization, encouraging the adoption of appropriate and sustainable solutions to current nutrition challenges.
